Terms of Service

Effective date: May 4, 2026

These Terms govern the use of Clipmaker, available at https://clipmaker.art.

By using Clipmaker, the user confirms that they have read and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

Service description

Clipmaker provides an online tool for cutting YouTube videos into short clips. The service lets users paste a video link, choose manual timecodes or automatic AI moment selection, add a banner and download ready clips.

Clipmaker is a technical tool. The service does not grant users rights to third-party videos, audio, images or other materials.

User age

Clipmaker may be used only by users over 18 or users who otherwise have the legal right to use such services in their jurisdiction.

Account

Registration may be required to access some service features. The user is responsible for account security and all actions performed through the account.

We may restrict or terminate access if the user violates these Terms, the law or third-party rights.

User materials

The user is solely responsible for links, videos, images, banners, timecodes and other materials used in Clipmaker.

By submitting materials, the user confirms that they have the right to use them and that such processing does not violate copyright, image rights, trademarks, YouTube rules or third-party rights.

The user grants Clipmaker a limited right to process materials only to perform the selected task: loading, analysis, cutting, adding a banner, storing the result and providing the file for download.

Copyright

Clipmaker must not be used to violate copyright or other rights. The user must make sure they have the right to process and use the selected YouTube video.

It is prohibited to use the service to download, copy, transform or distribute content without the right holder’s permission, or to access private, paid or restricted content.

Right holders may submit complaints to support@clipmaker.art with a link to the material, a description of the violation and proof of rights.

Prohibited use

  • violating the law or third-party rights;
  • overloading the service with automated requests;
  • attempting to hack, bypass restrictions or disrupt Clipmaker;
  • uploading malicious files;
  • using the service for spam, fraud or illegal materials;
  • copying Clipmaker’s interface, brand or technical solutions without permission.

Service availability

Clipmaker is provided “as is”. We try to keep it stable but do not guarantee error-free operation, uninterrupted availability or compatibility with all videos, formats and links.

AI moment selection may be inaccurate. Users should review generated clips before publishing them.

Result storage

Ready clips and temporary files are stored for a limited time, usually about one hour. After that they may be automatically deleted without recovery.

Limitation of liability

Clipmaker is not liable for user actions, third-party rights violations by users, claims from video platforms, data loss, service unavailability, processing errors or the results of publishing generated clips.

The user uses the service at their own risk.

Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. The new version becomes effective after publication on the website. Continued use of Clipmaker means acceptance of the updated Terms.
